• To determine the relationships between genotypic (variations, polymorphisms, mutations, etc.) and phenotypic diversities (disease susceptibility, susceptibility to biological pathogens, drug and toxins, etc.) in the community.
• To provide an understanding of the basis of disease pathologies by illuminating the genetic information in the human genome and the structure and functions of the proteins that are the products of this information and clarifying how they interact with each other.
