Marmara University Genetic and Metabolic Diseases Research and Implementation Center (GEMHAM) was established with the support of a "Research Infrastructure Project" presented to DPT in May 2009 by Marmara University. The Center, whose regulation was published in the Official Gazette on June 27, 2010, started to operate under the Rectorate of Marmara University. Circulating Capital of our center was established as of June 1, 2013.

Among the main objectives of our center include to provide a center for human health, equipped with state-of-the-art devices for experimental studies that always prioritize ethical values, to design basic and clinical researches that will contribute by following the current scientific developments on Genetic and Metabolic Diseases, managing, collecting and concluding data.

We have a list to add service procurement items to these projects in order to develop joint R&D projects and provide consultancy services in cooperation with universities, research institutions, public and private sector organizations at home and abroad.
